Aespada Technologies Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based ConTech startup founded in 2018 by industry veterans Jean Christophe Li and Charles Ng. The company is focused on helping Main Contractors to manage their material deliveries to the construction sites more efficiently, by reducing travelling time and traffic congestion / bottlenecks on the sites.

Its core product is an Online Booking system that allows Main Contractors to have a bird eye view and control over all deliveries to their sites. Through successful BEAMP pilots, Aespada has facilitated over 10,000 deliveries across Singapore and they are looking for the whole industry to adopt this innovative & dynamic delivery management software.

One of its key partners is Obayashi Corporation, a leading Japanese construction firm with more than a century of global infrastructure expertise. Under its Sustainability Vision 2050, Obayashi is focused on using smart, data-driven solutions to cut emissions while maintaining productivity. In line with its goal to reach carbon neutrality by 2030, the company sought a solution to track both direct and indirect emissions on-site.

To support this, Aespada enhanced its Delivery Management System to automate the collection of carbon emission data from all incoming deliveries. This upgrade improves planning, reduces on-site congestion and gives main contractors daily CO₂ metrics without additional manual input. The result is better visibility and stronger decision-making.

The solution has strengthened Obayashi’s ability to track and visualise delivery emissions, enabling the adoption of cleaner technologies and providing a solid foundation for reduction targets.

Participation in BEAMP provided Aespada the opportunity to work closely with Obayashi and key stakeholders such as BCA and JTC. The collaboration helped refine both its core platform and carbon-tracking application.

Looking ahead, Aespada plans to develop its CO₂ calculator into a standalone tool for the built environment. The next phase will extend coverage to emissions from on-site machinery, moving closer to a scalable, end-to-end solution for sustainable construction.
